As of now, the Museum Schnütgen is open for virtual visitors. Take a 360-degree tour through the permanent exhibit with your smartphone, tablet, or PC. After being welcomed by a talking lion, you can learn all about a wide variety of objects and visit audio stations for children and adults. Going straight from the foyer to the crypt is no problem, because visitors can use an interactive map to go anywhere they want in the museum right away.

360-degree tour through the National Socialism Documentation Centre

Cologne’s NS-Dokumentationszentrum has been located at the EL-DE-Haus – named after the initials of the building’s owner, merchant Leopold Dahmen – since 1988. This building served as the headquarters of the Cologne Gestapo from December 1935 to March 1945.

The museum commemorates the victims of the National Socialist regime, and aims to research and teach the history of Cologne under National Socialism. It can now be visited digitally with a 360-degree tour.
