Accessibility within the museums

The museums are fully or partially accessible to all visitors. People with disabilities can take advantage of the educational and placement programs in the Cologne museums.

The programs offered by the Museumsdienst Köln provide support to visitors with sensory, learning and intellectual disabilities to make exhibitions accessible to them. These offers are intended for schools and other groups.

There are guided tours and creative offerings in plain language, formats for people with learning difficulties and offerings for people with dementia, as well as workshops for the blind and visually impaired.

The educators who accompany the events are prepared for the needs of the target groups. For more information, see "Individual offers for groups" and "Topics for school classes & teachers".
