Visibility – Communication in and on the Holocaust

NS-Dokumentationszentrum

Thoughts and feelings, hopes and desperation, worries and fears: Perspectives of persons affected, persecuted, and disenfranchised on their situation and their own persecution are made “visible” with an extensive compilation of eyewitness accounts from the local Schöneberg family online until late 2022. It is also a retrospective of the time of the Holocaust by people who witnessed it. This is a project by the Museumsdienst Köln in cooperation with the Cologne National Socialism Documentation Centre (NS-Dokumentationszentrum), largely financed by the Stiftung Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft as well as the Federal Ministry of Finance as part of the National Socialist Injustice education agenda.
