"House of Riddles"

playfully discover Cologne's cultural treasures

Oh man! You don't have a clue where you are! Room by room, you puzzle your way along the trail of Cologne's cultural treasures. An Escape game for puzzlers of (almost) all ages. If you can read, you have a clear advantage - but otherwise you don't need any previous knowledge. Just a healthy curiosity.

The game focuses on the history and the extensive and valuable collection of the Cologne Jesuits: Drawings, prints, portraits, books and scientific objects were collected by them for teaching and educational purposes. Today, the collection has been torn apart and distributed among various locations or institutions: The drawings and prints, for example, are partly in the Louvre in Paris, partly in the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum in Cologne.

Further entry formats on the topic of Jesuit collections on MAP-History of the University of Cologne, Chair for the History of Early Modern Times Presentation of the partial collections and presentation of the Jesuit collection context in the Cultural Heritage Cologne of the Rheinisches Bildarchiv Köln.
